Side-effects of Crestor

- Birth control pills
- Blood thinner like warfarin
- Cimetidine
- Niacin
- Spironolactone
- HIV medications
- Cyclosporine
- Gemfibrozil, fenofibrate, fenofibric acid, etc.
- Any other Statin medication
Crestor Important Warning and Precautions
Rosuvastatin is a drug which is not recommended to everybody. Therefore, patients are advised not to take it without doctor’s recommendation. If patients are suffering from any of the following health conditions, it is necessary to inform the doctor prior taking Crestor:
- History of kidney disease
- History of liver disease
- Thyroid disorder
- Diabetes
- Family history of muscle disorder
- Drink more than 2 alcoholic beverages in a day
Patients are advised to strictly avoid Crestor in the following conditions:
- Pregnancy
- Breast-feeding
- Allergic to any of its active or inactive ingredients
- Suffering from active liver disease
